Jay, along with his brother Dave, founded Instant Channel in 2009 and has served as the company’s CEO for 8 years.  Jay has led major initiatives and overall growth, taking the company from a small, fledgling email marketing affiliate to its position today as a provider of powerful data intelligence solutions utilized by both prominent brands and small firms alike.  Prior to founding Instant Channel, Jay managed legal information technology infrastructure for Los Angeles and Orange County based law firms.  Jay holds a B.A. in Political Science from San Diego State University.

Since founding Instant Channel in 2009, Dave has used Instant Channel’s ongoing success in online marketing to guide the development of its next-generation email monetization platform.  As the company’s CTO, Dave leads a team of experienced developers and engineers in their efforts to integrate the science of consumer behavior with the most effective marketing techniques to create powerful, profit-driving software.

John has more than 25 years of leadership experience in software and technology. Prior to Instant Channel, he spent 2 years as Executive Vice President at Veritone, Inc., helping take the company thru IPO, with his focus on launching Legal, Public Safety, Federal Government and other business verticals based on Veritone’s Artificial Intelligence Platform. Prior to Veritone, Newsom served as CEO of Quorum, a Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) technology company, and before that, as VP/GM of Applications Management, VP North America & Asia Pacific Sales, and other leadership roles at Quest / Dell Software, focused on Systems Management technologies. During his time at Quest, Newsom helped the company grow from 44 employees and $6 million in revenue through IPO to over 4,000 employees and nearly $1 billion in revenue, leading to its 2012 acquisition by Dell. Prior to Quest, Newsom was a Silicon Valley software developer and program manager for Tandem Computers, a leader in massively parallel, fault tolerant computing systems. John holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Computer Science from California State University at Chico.

Dave DeWalt has more than 30 years experience in the technology space, holding major  leadership positions in some of the industry’s most innovative and
successful companies. He served as President & CEO of 3 major companies and helped drive more than $20 Billion in shareholder value during his 15+ years as a CEO.

Most recently, Dave was Chairman & CEO of the board of FireEye, the global leader in cyber security. He served from May 2012 to February 2017. The company grew more than 10x in his time running the company, and attained the largest market cap of any security company in history at $16.1B in 2014.

Previous to FireEye, he served as president and chief executive officer of McAfee, Inc. and led the acquisition of McAfee by Intel for $7.7 billion in 2010. At the time, this was the largest all cash deal in high technology history.

He was named one of the 25 most influential executives in high technology by the readers of the industry publication CRN. He has spoken at the World Economic Forum on the issue of cyber security and keynoted at several technology industry conferences including Interop and Software 2008 and RSA. He currently is Chairman of Claroty, as well as vice chairman of ForeScout and ForgeRock. He is also on the board of directors of Delta Airlines, and Five9. In May 2011 he was appointed by President Barack Obama to the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Council (NSTAC).

Jeff Moslow is a private equity investor focused on investments in middle market growth businesses.

He is a retired partner of Goldman Sachs.  At Goldman Sachs  Jeff was co-Head of Investment Banking Services from  2002-2008. He was a member of the Investment Banking Division Operating Committee.  Jeff also served on the Commitments Committee which had oversight responsibility for global underwriting. He was named a Managing Director in 1998 and a Partner in 2000.   Jeff retired as a partner in 2012

Jeff earned his B.A. in Classics and Economics, summa cum laude from Tufts University in 1986. He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. He also holds a J.D. 1989 from Harvard Law School.

Mr. Mattson is a private equity investor focused on investments in middle market growth businesses.

Mr. Mattson was a partner and co-head of the Global Industrials Group in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs & Co. from 2002 to 2012, and served in a variety of other positions from 1994 to 2002.  He was an Associate at Credit Suisse First Boston from 1993 to 1994, and he held various sales and marketing positions at IBM Corporation from 1987 to 1993.

Mr. Mattson serves on the board of directors of Delta Airlines, and is a Senior Advisor to Comvest Partners and Star Mountain Capital.  He is also Vice Chair of the Board of Visitors of the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University.

Mr. Mattson earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Duke University in 1987 and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 1993.
